New Sound Poetry Album + Book: st'Utter Tongue!

I'm proud to present a twin Sound Poetry release from mOnocle-Lash Anti-Press and the Spaceship Lullabies micro-label! Despite performing sound poetry consistently for over two decades, on two continents, with dozens of collaborators, the only albums I've put out have been grungy CD-Rs of live recordings ripped from camcorders, so it's nice to have a relatively-properly-made album at last – recorded on actual equipment in the mOnocle-Lash office by Tater Fraterabo. It's a mix of newer pieces and old classics that have never been properly fixed for posterity.

The blurb and links to purchase & listening options are below – the album can be streamed for free, or bought as a download, or as CD via an email to Spaceship Lullabies; OR, the CD + Book Set can be bought (or traded) together for $8 from mOnocle-Lash, or just the book for $2. Got all that?

1.) The first full-length, studio-style album of sound poetry by Olchar E. Lindsann, including a full range of a cappella sound, including phonetic scores in the Dada tradition written and honed in performance over two decades, semantically collapsing verbal poems voiced via extensions & collisions of Symbolist and Lettristic techniques, and improvised automatism or noise-poetry inspired by the crirhythms of the Ultra-Lettrists and the strategies of Free Playing and electronic Noise. (Spaceship Lullabies)

2.) The companion volume to the album, comprised of the phonetic scores performed there and the textual poems integrated into the album's noise-poems. (mOnocle-Lash)

Album: 1-hour factory-pressed CD w/full colour cover/insert & jewel case.

New Journal Publications

A quick check in to note two recent journal publications – oases in a dry year, since teaching has kept me too busy to consistently send stuff to journals. Both have a ton of other great stuff as well – BlazeVOX has a healthy mix of comprehensible to anticomprehensible poetry, while eYeLand (from the C22 Collective) is my favourite journal going right now – akin in spirit and adventurousness and uncompromising AVANT poetry to the old Lost & Found Times, Juxta, and (dare I say) Synapse. Click the links to read online or (in eYeLand's case) order a print copy.

  • eYeland, #4Print & Online Journal. ed. Joshua Martin, et. al. "Press Ur Advent" , "Los Hymn VII" & "Codextrous Emerald". May 2026.
  • BlazeVOX, Spring 26. Online Journal, ed. Geoffrey Gatza. Seven poems: "PubLick InTearest" , "Dis:Order o'Futile Creations" , "Nancy Drew the Other Nancy Drew" , "Rodentia p'Ranked" , "Los Hymn III" , "Los "Hymn V", "BookShelves' Causeries #9: Arnold&Argüelles; Sort o'Classicism Reel, and Worms" & ""BookShelves' Causeries #10: Artaud&Ashton Smith; Shitdust for the Spirit Gathers" ; plus a translation and a transmutation of the same poem, "Eve" by Marie Krysinska. May 2026.
